ﻗﺎﻝ ﻣﺴﺆﻭﻟﻮﻥ ﻓﻲ ﺍﻻﺳﺘﺨﺒﺎﺭﺍﺕ ﺍﻟﻌﺮﺍﻗﻴﺔ ﺇﻥ ﺣﻜﻮﻣﺘﻬﻢ ﻃﻠﺒﺖ ﻣﻦ
ﺍﻹﺩﺍﺭﺓ ﺍﻷﻣﺮﻳﻜﻴﺔ ﺷﻦ ﻏﺎﺭﺍﺕ ﺑﻄﺎﺋﺮﺍﺕ ﻣﻦ ﺩﻭﻥ ﻃﻴﺎﺭ ﺿﺪ ﻣﻘﺎﺗﻠﻲ
” ﺟﺒﻬﺔ ﺍﻟﻨﺼﺮﺓ” ﺍﻹﺳﻼﻣﻴﺔ ﻓﻲ ﺳﻮﺭﻳﺎ. ﻭﺫﻟﻚ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺧﻠﻔﻴﺔ ﺍﻟﻬﺠﻮﻡ
ﺍﻟﺬﻱ ﺷﻨﻪ ﻣﻘﺎﺗﻠﻮﻥ ﺇﺳﻼﻣﻴﻮﻥ ﺿﺪ ﺟﻨﻮﺩ ﺗﺎﺑﻌﻴﻦ ﻟﻘﻮﺍﺕ ﺑﺸﺎﺭ ﺍﻷﺳﺪ

ﻭﻓﻲ ﺷﺄﻥ ﺍﻟﻄﻠﺐ ﺍﻟﻌﺮﺍﻗﻲ، ﺃﻓﺎﺩﺕ ﺻﺤﻴﻔﺔ ” ﺍﻟﺸﺮﻕ ﺍﻷﻭﺳﻂ ” ﺑﺘﺄﻛﻴﺪ
ﻣﺴﺆﻭﻝ ﺃﻣﺮﻳﻜﻲ ـ ﻟﻢ ﺗﺴﻤﻪ ـ ﺗﻠﻘﻴﻬﻢ ﻫﺬﺍ ﺍﻟﻄﻠﺐ، ﻟﻜﻨﻪ ﺃﻭﺿﺢ ﺃﻥ
ﺍﻟﻮﻻﻳﺎﺕ ﺍﻟﻤﺘﺤﺪﺓ ﺃﺟﻠﺖ ﺍﻟﺮﺩ ﺣﺘﻰ ﺗﺘﻘﺪﻡ ﺍﻟﻘﻴﺎﺩﺓ ﺍﻟﻌﺮﺍﻗﻴﺔ ﺑﻄﻠﺐ
ﺭﺳﻤﻲ .
ﻭﻣﻦ ﺟﻬﺘﻪ، ﻗﺎﻝ ﺍﻟﻤﺘﺤﺪﺙ ﺑﺎﺳﻢ ﻭﺯﺍﺭﺓ ﺍﻟﺪﻓﺎﻉ ﺍﻟﻌﺮﺍﻗﻴﺔ، ﺍﻟﻠﻮﺍﺀ ﻣﺤﻤﺪ
ﺍﻟﻌﺴﻜﺮﻱ، ﺇﻥ ﺑﻐﺪﺍﺩ ﻃﻠﺒﺖ ﻓﻲ ﺻﻔﻘﺔ ﺍﻟﺴﻼﺡ ﺍﻟﺘﻲ ﺃﺑﺮﻣﺘﻬﺎ ﻣﺆﺧﺮﺍ ﻣﻊ

»ﺟﺒﻬﺔ ﺍﻟﻨﺼﺮﺓ« ﺑﻜﻞ ﺍﻟﻮﺳﺎﺋﻞ ﺍﻟﻤﻤﻜﻨﺔ ﻣﻦ ﺃﺳﻠﺤﺔ ﻭﻣﻘﺎﺗﻠﻴﻦ ﻭﺗﺪﺭﻳﺐ.

ﻳﺠﺮﻱ ﻓﻲ ﻣﻌﺴﻜﺮﺍﺕ ﻣﺆﻗﺘﺔ ﺑﻤﻨﺎﻃﻖ ﻭﻋﺮﺓ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﺤﺪﻭﺩ ﺍﻟﺴﻮﺭﻳﺔ –
